Basic Tactical Handgun Course

Course Description

Basic Handgun is designed to establish a foundation in the safe, proper, and effective use of a pistol in a defensive role. Subjects covered include safety, drawing, loading, malfunction clearance, stress operation, specialized drills and representations of short range confrontations, night and lowlight firing as well as the proper mindset. These fundamental skills are essential in establishing a strong foundation for applying defensive handgun skills under the physical and mental stress that is prevalent in potentially dangerous encounters. The course is defensive in nature.

The above classes will be tought at CLARK AIRBASE in the Philippines. Weapons provided M4 and glock 19

Two small spiral notebooks
Flashlight: students are encouraged to bring a weapon mounted light as well for lowlight shooting.
Eye and ear protection
Long sleeved shirts and long pants
Durable boots or footwear
Camelback or other water system
Leather gloves / Shooting Gloves
Range Bag or Assault Bag to carry all gear
Ammunition and weapons are supplied at the school
Pouches for extra magazines
Thigh OR Belt Holster: Allowing for straight draws

PHILIPPINES TRAINING SITE

PSD OPERTAOR COURSE 1 SEPT 2008 - 14 SEPT 2008 (DISCLAIMER, a minimum of 10 slots have to be filled in order to have the class).

COST: $4,000 (us) food and lodging included.

Training will be conducted at CLARK AIRBASE. Upon completion of training, trainees will receive certification as PSS/PSD from the Philippine National Police.

All deposit's must be in by AUGUST 14, 2008 / Registration forms must filled out and faxed back to 732-574-1559 by AUGUST 14, 2008.
